I’ve really been slacking off these past few weeks…in house buying limbo/hell, cod fishing, lazying around in an inner tube in numerous ponds, making jars upon jars of pickles from the flood of cucumbers in our garden. But no real farm work…that changes now! Or in a few days…
I’ve laid out the 6×6 for the greenhouse, lots of sledge hammering of rebar into rocky ground coming, then the erecting of it…
Then with any luck, the purchase and the erection of a couple more greenhouses before the snow flies. Fields to disk, beds to lay out, cover crops to be planted
But then the sun comes out, the pond shimmers and the tube beckons, and the farm work seems like it could wait just one more day…
